We understand that your new jewellery piece(s) are precious, and that you will want to wear them everyday, However Please be mindful that certain chemicals, cleaning and beauty products can cause damage to your them.

Knowing When to take them off.

Harsh Chemicals found it cleaning products, swimming pools, beauty products and hand sanitisers alongside UV and LED rays can severely damage your jewellery.

We recommend removing jewellery when

• undertaking Housework/Cleaning

• Swimming

• Showering

• using beaty products or Hand sanitiser

• Sunbathing and visiting Nail salons

Please also be mindful of hitting hard surfaces, this can bend and damage jewellery and cause settings to become loose or lost.

Sterling silver does naturally tarnish when exposed to air. All of our Sterling Silver jewellery is plated with a thin layer of Rhodium to reduce the need of polishing, increase durability and enhance its brightness. However, Rhodium plating does also wear over time and will typically need to be replace every 12-18 months, to ensure the protection of your jewellery.

All of our jewellery at Timeless Treasures comes with a 12 month warranty. When we consider claims under this warranty, we will not be able to proceed if the item is showing visible signs of damage endured by any the reasons stated above. If a jewellery item appears physically damaged then we reserve the right to charge for any repair or replacement needed.
